The engine is based on a 4.6 ltr Rover V8. Supplied by Turner Engineering with Ductile iron top hat liners fitted. The crank has been off-set ground and gives a capacity of 4.8 ltrs.
We have raised the compression from 7.5:1 (when we ran 9.22) to 11:1.

BLOCK- 4.6 ltr rover V8 fitted with ductile iron top hat liners from Turner Engineering.
CRANK- Rover 4.6 crank off set ground to give 86mm stroke with 2" mains giving capacity of 4.8ltrs.
HEADS- Rover SD1 runners opened out and shaped by myself and fitted with 1.63" intake and 1.40" exhaust valves. Yella Terra adjustable rockers are fitted and the heads are O-ringed.
RODS- Eagle H-beam 5.7"
PISTONS- Supplied by Venolia to give 11 : 1 compression.
CAM- Solid, Comp Cams 110 lobe separation.
SUPERCHARGER- BDS 4/71.
INDUCTION- Enderle bug catcher on home made intake. Enderle pump.
FUEL- Methanol.
IGNITION- MSD 10+
